QTD are the sole importers of certified Scandinavian Thermowood Pine and Kiln dried Ipe Hardwood. You can now buy these online through our new internet shopping site along with pressure treated construction timbers.

Timber Decking
Quality Timber Decking design and build high quality bespoke timber decks and outdoor timber structures.
We specialize in building with Thermowood which is a redwood pine ( not spruce which is less durable). It has been heat treated to preserve rather than chemically treated and so is more eco friendly. It comes from managed Scandinavian forests.
When we build in hardwood we recommend Ipe. This we have also carefully sourced to ensure a full chain of custody is in place.
For our customers who want a composite decking alternative , we offer Twinson or TimberTech but we do not restrict ourselves and we will build your deck in the wood of your choice.
