QTD Overview
QTD design and build high quality bespoke timber decks and outdoor timber structures.
We specialize in building with Thermowood which is a heat modified softwood. It has been heat treated to preserve rather than chemically treated and so is more stable and eco friendly.
When we build in hardwood we recommend Ipe. This we have also carefully sourced to ensure it comes from managed sources.
For our customers who want a composite decking alternative, we offer REHAU RELAZZO but we do not restrict ourselves and we will build your deck in the material of your choice.
QTD constantly strive for perfection while meeting stringent building regulations and timescales. After all, your investment in decking should provide twenty or more years of enjoyment.

QTD have undergone an extensive audit process and have achieved accreditation, being awarded Chain of Custody Certification with FSC and PEFC.
QTD commit to implement and maintain the FSC and PEFC chain of custody at our company.
QTD are the only Design and Build Deck company in the UK that can provide a full unbroken chain of custody certification from managed forest through to the customer.
Please remember that if your project, Commercial or Residential requires FSC or PEFC Certified material then the company who supplies the materials and builds your project or the company that supplies you the material direct, must also have this certification in place and must provide the COC number on all relevant documentation. There are now strong penalties in place for those that try to avoid this process.
